St Margaret's Academy's PTA is a group of volunteers made up from parents, carers and teachers.

Our PTA has been an integral part of the school community for many years. Thousands of pounds have been raised, which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children's education and the facilities in school.

Our PTA is about much more than just fundrasing though. It also supports closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and carers together socially in suppot of the school, working towards a common goal. It is fun too - as we are sure you will find out if you join us at one of the varied events throughout the school year.

The majority of our funds are raised through the vents that we run. Some of our most popular events are the Christmas and Summer Fairs, discos, cake sales, and film nights.

Over the past few years the PTA has funded lots of different things including the following;
  • Year 6 Leavers' Books
  • Donations for LearnPads
  • 50th Anniversary badges for all children
  • Outdoor toys
  • Equipment for the After School Club
  • Professional camera for school use
  • Fire Pit canopy
  • Willow tunnel
  • Play Pod
All parents automatically become members of the PTA when their children join our school. We always welcome new parents/carers to join the PTA meetings to help us with events, fund raising ideas and publicity.

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact the school office who will put you in contact with one of our committee members.
