Sports Hall Athletics Devon County Final – Level 3 March 2020

The children had done well, having already achieved first place in our local schools cluster competition and then also winning the Torbay Final at South Devon College.  They qualified for the Devon County Final at the Plymouth Life Centre and the top schools had travelled from all over Devon to compete. There were 14 schools competing and all the children took part in a range of track and field events.  They all performed their best against a very high standard of athletic skills. They found the running events very competitive but they did better in their field events. They amassed 434 points and came joint 9th – a good result in such a high standard.  What an amazing achievement to get so far!
