Swimming Gala Success 18.11.22

On Friday 18^th November, our swimmers from Y5/6 took part in a swimming gala at Plainmoor swimming pool against Priory school.  There were two parts to the gala, first it was the 25m individual races and we managed to win many first place medals.  After the individual races, were the team relays and the children worked really well in their teams – winning all of the relays.  After the traditional stroke races and at the half-way point, we were in the lead.  The children were all so proud of their medals.  In the second part of the event, the children competed in some fun aquasplash activities, which included the big float relay and the sinking and floating relay.  At the end of the gala, the children were very tired after all their hard work in the pool to win the gala and beat our neighbouring school.  Well done to the St Margaret’s swimming team!
