Y3 children have been busy researching, designing, creating and evaluating 3D shell structures in Design Technology. Firstly, they brought boxes in from home and took them apart to research nets. They then put them back together again as best they could. Next in groups, they chose a 3D shape for their prototype and drew the net before going on to actually make it together. Finally, they then went on to design, make and evaluate their own individual biscuit box. They also baked cookies to go inside!
