Year 1 Kite Making

Year 1 have been constructing their own kites today.  They measured their string to make sure it was the right length.  Then they took the kites outside to experiment the best way to fly them.  They found out that if they started moving slowly and caught the wind it worked better than them running.  It also helped if the string was not too long.  Lots of exercise and fun for all!
