Y5/6 Gifted Sports Workshops Nov 2022

Some of our more able pupils who are gifted or talented in PE/sport, were invited to take part in a Greater Depth Workshop at St Cuthbert Mayne.

Those pupils who had achieved the criteria of what a ‘more able’ PE student looks like, took part in some activities to test their performance and approach to PE and sport.  During the morning and working with the PE teachers at St Cuthbert Mayne, they got an idea of how they approach their work in PE and they were also tested on their performance, skillfulness and awareness.  This was a new event organised in collaboration with our school partnership with St Cuthbert Mayne and it was a great opportunity for those children who excel in PE/sport to work with them.
