Like an incredible story plot, Jude in Year 4, against all the odds took 2 gold medals and 1 silver in a European tournament last week held in Germany.
In a highly charged competitive environment, after taking his 2 hard-earned golds in his division, Jude stepped up to take over from an injured team mate in a category that saw him competing against children who were up to 5 years older and heavier. The organisers double checked he was okay and willing to do this. He was. And like a scene from Karate Kid, he went on to take an incredible silver medal in this higher division.
What an achievement and what a story. Well done, Jude.
