Y1 What happens when things get wet? 25.9.24

On Monday morning in our 'Creative Curriculum' session, Year 1 explored the question, 'What happens when things get wet?' We had a range of items, made of different materials, which we've been learning about in science lessons. First, we made predictions about what would happen; would the water run off or would it soak in? We started by squirting them with a bit of water and then pouring more water on with watering cans. It was really fun and helped us to learn about waterproof and absorbent materials.
