Another season, another super performance by The Lionesses. On Tuesday, the girls played their first League match at home to Torre and came away victorious with a thumping 4-1 win. Although we conceded the first goal, the girls didn't let their heads drop. They continued to play lovely passing football, gritty tackling and all with team spirit. Special mention to Neave who stepped in to be our goalkeeper and made a brilliant save when it was 1-1. Player of the match though, unquestionably, was Captain Fantastic, Issy, who scored all 4 goals and led from the front. Our next match is Monday, home to Babbacombe.
