On Thursday 4 th May, 30 Y2 children went to a multi-skills festival at St Cuthbert
Mayne School and they had a great time trying out different activities, testing their
agility, balance and co-ordination. This was organised by some of the sports leaders at
the secondary school and they were great at encouraging our children to have a go. The
children scored points for different activities and they all worked very hard as part of
a team. After two hours of physical activity, our 3 teams came 1 st , 2 nd and 6 th - with the
winning team achieving a whopping 565 points! Great effort, Apple and Oak Class!
