Soup Making for the Homeless - 10.12.19

On Tuesday afternoon our KS2 school council were involved in making homemade soup for the homeless charity Thrive, which operate in Paignton. They did a fantastic job of chopping, stirring, blending, sieving and even doing the washing up! The council handed over a vegetable soup, pea and mint soup and tomato and potato soup - this will hopefully be enough to feed over thirty homeless people in the bay and the children should be very proud of themselves. Special thanks to parent helper Steve Le Millier who helped Mr Tullier with providing and helping to cook the ingredients. The Herald Express came in and we hope to be in next week’s edition, keep your eyes peeled (no pun intended!).
