Y4 Competitive Dodgeball Success 24.3.22

On Thursday 24th March the Y4 Dodgeball team went to St Cuthbert Mayne to compete in a Dodgeball competition against other schools.  We played against St Marychurch and Homelands.  It was so good to see the children participating in competitive sport again after two years of competition disruption caused by covid.  All three schools were able to take 30 children split into 3 teams of 10.  The teams were organised into an A, B and C group.  All of the teams played each other and after playing 8 games each, all three of St Margaret’s teams achieved 1st place in their group.  The A team won 7 out of it’s 8 games and only drawing one game against our B team.  They had lots of fun throwing balls and hitting opponents.  Charlie had a special mention for playing with lots of determination and resilience and received a medal.  All the children played very well and we were very proud of them.
