Year 3 investigate our local area: St Marychurch and Babbacombe May 2022

In Year 3, we have been studying Our Local Area of St Marychurch and Babbacombe as part of our Geography curriculum. We compared the land use to 100 years ago to see why the area has changed and learn about the impact of tourism.

Case Study: St Marychurch and Babbacombe

Main question:

Why do places change over time?

Ancillary questions:

How has my local area changed over time?

What physical and human changes have there been?

How has tourism affected my local area?

How has the quality of the environment changed?
