Year 6 Local Victorians Nov 2020

The Year 6 classes have been enjoying learning about the Victorians.  The children had a breakfast of unsweetened gruel (which some loved!) followed by a sewing class linked to their William Morris art. Threading the needle was definitely a challenge! They used chalk boards for a handwriting and spelling session and played parlour games like ‘Charades’ and ‘Hide the Dice’! In the afternoon,  children had a brilliant time with a drama activity, acting out scenes from Oliver Twist with some very promising Cockney accents!
