On Tuesday 22nd March, four children from Years 3 and 4 were invited to attend "Maths Able Day" at Shiphay Learning Academy. The children really enjoyed the variety of Maths challenges. Bethany said, “My favourite part of the day was the challenge about shapes and space”. Ryan added, “We got to learn a bit of Algebra” and Myo said, “I really enjoyed the 24 Game where we had to add, subtract, multiply or divide numbers to make 24”.
The children were able to mix with other schools and discuss their maths learning. Oliver commented, “I really enjoyed getting to do a friendly competition and to meet other children from different schools”. Well done all of you!
